What are the components of the stainless steel reactor? Apr 26, 2018

Stainless steel reactors have excellent performance and a wide range of applications. They play a very important role in many production industries. The reason why this kind of performance characteristic is mainly stems from the structural design and composition of the stainless steel reactor itself. So, what is its main composition?

As a commonly used main reaction equipment, the stainless steel reactor includes several different parts. The first is the kettle body part. The kettle body is the space where the material reacts chemically. Usually it is closed, and sometimes it is open. It mainly depends on the reaction medium. It consists of the cylinder body and the upper and lower heads. The material is generally made of high quality 304 or 316L. Made of stainless steel.

Since it is often necessary to perform under certain temperature conditions during the reaction, it is necessary to use a heat transfer device. Usually, the heat transfer device for heating or cooling is provided inside or outside the stainless steel reactor kettle vessel body, usually the outer jacket of the reaction vessel body or the snake tube inside the kettle, and the heat transfer device can be added or subtracted according to the production process.

In addition, in view of the importance of uniform mixing, the reaction is fully carried out, and the work efficiency and quality are improved. Therefore, it is also necessary to provide a stirring device in a stainless steel reactor. The stirring device consists of a stirring shaft and a stirrer. The rotation of the stirring device is reduced by the motor to a suitable speed after the speed reducer, and then driven by the coupling. Vertical stirring shaft is cantilevered. If necessary, intermediate or bottom bearings can also be provided in the reactor.

In order to match the operation of the stirring device, it is also necessary to configure the corresponding shaft sealing device. We know that the stirring shaft of the stainless steel reactor is rotating, and the head of the kettle body is stationary. Therefore, it is necessary to perform shaft sealing at the stirring shaft. The function of the shaft sealing is to maintain the pressure or vacuum inside the reactor equipment to prevent reaction. Material escapes and impurities infiltrate.

In addition to these components, the stainless steel reactor also contains some other structural components, mainly referring to stainless steel reactor accessories, such as manholes, hand holes, various takeovers, thermometers, pressure gauges, sight glass, Safety relief devices.
